Hi All,
For those of you who may be interested, I have started my 2021 photo
gallery. Not many photos yet, but there are some of the current "resident"
Tufted Duck, Lesser Scaup and Ring-necked duck at Sullivan's Pond, the
Ruddy Duck at Russell Lake and Bald Eagles at Sheffield Mills last week.

Feb 01, 2021:
We had an unexpected visitor last night in our very large Christmas wreath
still hanging on our front door. The wreath is very thick with fresh
boughs, berries, twigs and leaves, plus four imitation red cardinals
nestling among the foliage.
We have 24/7 home care for Gordon and when our night shift care worker
arrived @ 7:50 pm announcing a small bat just flew out of the wreath, past
his head and headed around the corner of the house! Seeing it was Jan 29/21
we were in a bit of a shock. However, 15 mins later when our dayshift work
opened the door to leave, out came the bat flying off around the corner of
the house once again. A check this morning @ 7:30 am did not yield the bat's
presence.
I plan to leave the wreath there for a few more days just in case...
Stay well everyone,
Judy Tufts
