Hi,
I am a director of the Sackville Lakes Park and Trails Association. Another board member
is interested in knowing if there are or have been Black Ashes in the area now contained
by the park.
I know the people on this list server have a tremendous amount of knowledge about the
forests of Nova Scotia.

Word of warning:
I took a picture of some suspected ash trees (including leaves, terminal
buds and seed panicles) back in the fall of 2019, and got a very
enthusiastic response from folks who know their ashes. Problem was, I
didn't take pictures of the bark. Lots of seeds, so one of the team came
down to collect some, and identified the trees as European ash!
