We have had at least one tree sparrow in to sample our ground-broadcast bird
seed any time the snow hits. Our regulars have included whitethroats, song
sparrows, juncos (not many), starlings, and blue jays (increasing). Noy a
stunning array of species, and starlings aside, abundances haven't been
impressive.
Yesterday, during the storm, a couple of redwings arrived. They stood their
ground against the blue jays. That was nice to see!
This is all at our place on Wyman Road, South of Yarmouth.

The bad weather overnight brought an unusual visitor: We have an American
Tree Sparrow beneath our bird feeders today. This is the first we have seen
in several years here.
