Hello,
You are receiving this email as you requested to be kept up-to-date about
Centre Plan.
The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the Centre Plan - Package B public
engagement process and project timeline. Thank you to everyone who
participated in the Centre Plan surveys and continues to provide feedback
and comments through other means.
Here is our latest update:
*Centre Plan Process *The Community Design Advisory Committee (CDAC)
resumed its meetings in July 2020 and is continuing its detailed review of
draft Centre Plan Package B and providing feedback to staff on policy
directions & additional community engagement. View the CDAC agendas and
presentation materials.

Staff are continuing to review and analyze the feedback received. Please
stay tuned for additional engagement opportunities in November and December
related to established residential areas. If you are part of an
established residential group and would like to speak with staff directly,
please reach out to us. Written comments can be emailed to
planhrm(a)halifax.ca until *December 15, 2020*. A “What We Heard Reportâ€
will be tabled with CDAC once consultation is completed.
* Former Saint Patrick’s Alexandra School Site Survey and Consultation *The
municipality is consulting on potential planning policy changes on the
former Saint Patrick’s Alexandra school site as part of Centre Plan Package
B process. This includes a survey, stakeholder meetings and a virtual
public consultation meeting planned for *Thursday, November 19, 2020* with
a focus on the Halifax North End community. The consultation process will
help inform recommendations and decisions related to Regional Council’s
direction to explore changing the zoning on the site from HR-1 to HR-2 as
part of Centre Plan Package B process. Get more information and/or take the
survey.
