Who is representing the Commitments to the Imagine Bloomfield principles
supposed to be in the offers to purchase? Is it Lindell? A staff person not
from real estate department? I’d say there’s a need to meet with them and
find out how those commitments are showing up in the offers, how they are
being prioritized in the acceptance process and then what kind of
accountability process will be in place to ensure those community
commitments are worth more than the paper they’re written on.

The only thing I can think of is for the broader
neighbourhood to form a

would be issuing a statement that if the neighbourhood is not involved in
the new plan this will happen again when they try to start construction. I
don't have the time to organize such an event but I would participate in
any effort to bring it about.

Dear Neighbours,
It appears that the city is going to do what they want to do with the
sight. Lip service and patronizing is so insulting to all of us. Don't be
surprised when the bulldozer comes crashing in. I didn't like the response,
but I'm glad Councillor Smith got back to me and also Ron. Any ideas of
where we should go from here? Take care, Ken Malay
